The Minho is an international river and has a length of about 340 kilometers. In the last 75 kilometers of the journey, between Melgaço and Caminha forms the border between Spain and Portugal.
There are 14 islands across the Minho River section that are shared between Portugal and Spain, four of which are considered to be international, not being “disputed” by any of the countries.
For 5 days we will explore the Minho valley and its medieval villages.

The region is famous for the green landscape, the food but also for the famous white wine Alvarinho. Paddle and explore with us one of the most beautiful rivers and region of Portugal.
